July 12-14, 2024

This 3 day, 2 night river experience and camping trip will bring together professional water managers, scientists, public officials, conservationists and water users from around the Rio Grande basin. Participants will enjoy a guided, educational river trip, develop closer personal and working relationships and foster a deeper understanding of the Rio Chama and Rio Grande, as well as water management issues in the state.

In addition to camping for 2 nights in the awe inspiring Chama Wilderness area, there is excitement for every traveler. The Chama has a number of class 3 rapids and the level of your boating experience is up to you. You can choose to join a paddle team (4-6 paddlers plus guide), an oar-powered raft (more sedentary) or inflatable kayak (more adventurous), which can be provided.

Far Flung Adventures will be outfitting and providing guides for this river experience. Far Flung Adventures has been safely providing river adventures to families and groups for over 45 years.
